Thad Brady
Thad joined our law firm after completing a prestigious judicial clerkship for the High Court of American Samoa. Thad received his law degree from the University of Illinois College of Law where he participated in a national moot court competition and served as an editor on the Elder Law Journal, which also published him as an author.
Thad focuses his practice on bankruptcy, criminal defense, social security, and family law. Thad is also very skilled at legal research and is always willing to take on unique and interesting cases.
John Loesel
John joined our law firm in 2010, after having clerked with us the previous summer. John graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 2007. While at Southeast, John was involved in many student organizations, and in his senior year was recognized as the Man of the Year for Sigma Nu International Fraternity. John then went on to receive his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law. At Virginia, John was a managing editor for the Journal of Law and Politics.
John is licensed to practice law in both Missouri and Texas.
John will be focusing his practice on bankruptcy, estate planning, elder law, family law, tax, and civil appeals. John is also the designated presenter for our free legal seminars.
Wayne Keller
Wayne has been a practicing attorney since graduating from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 1997. Prior to his work as an attorney, Wayne spent nearly thirty years leading a distinguished career in the United States Navy, rising from an enlisted man to his final rank of Lieutenant. During his time in the service, Wayne received countless awards, including three Navy Achievement Medals and four Navy Commendation Medals.
Wayne specializes in social security disability and bankruptcy. Wayne remains involved with the Veterans of Foreign Wars and currently serves as president of the Elks Lodge in Perryville.

Our law firm was founded in 1975 and is now comprised of six attorneys. The Partners are John P. Lichtenegger, Chris N. Weiss, and Scott Fetterhoff. Our associates are Thad Brady and John Loesel. Wayne M. Keller is our Of Counsel attorney. Together the firm has over one hundred years of experience in providing legal representation to the good people of Southeast Missouri.
John P. Lichtenegger
John has been practicing law since he was admitted to the Missouri bar in 1972. He received his law degree from the University of Missouri - Columbia. John is licensed to practice in all Missouri state courts, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, and the United States Supreme Court.
John has led a very distinguished career in both the law and public service. He worked as Curator for the four school University of Missouri System from 1985 to 1995, including serving as President in 1992 and 1993. John received the Citation of Merit from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law, along with several other awards and recognitions.
John specializes in estate planning, commercial law, construction law, business law, workers' compensation, and real estate.
Chris N. Weiss
Chris received his law degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He was admitted to the Missouri Bar in 1988 and the Illinois bar in 1989. Chris is licensed in all Missouri state courts, the United Stated District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
Chris has served as president of the Jackson Rotary Club and treasurer for the SEMO District Fair. He has been a board member for the University of Missouri Extension Council and the Farm Bureau Board of Directors. Chris also earned a master's degree in Agriculture from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and taught Agriculture Law as an adjunct professor at Southeast Missouri State University.
Chris specializes in estate planning, probate law, agriculture law, social security, workers' compensation, litigation, and personal injury.
Scott Fetterhoff
Scott graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law and was admitted to the Missouri Bar in 1990. Scott is licensed in all Missouri state courts and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.
Scott currently serves as president of the Industrial Development Board of Bollinger County, Missouri.
Scott specializes in family law, domestic relations, bankruptcy, creditor rights, criminal defense, real estate, and estate planning.
